Every note rings out clear and true .
I tuned the E string to D for that song. It’s a simple song, but it is the first time I recorded like that in church. That said, I think it is easier to use a 5.
I find a 5 to be more easy to navigate but it’s nice to have the skills to make the 4 work. Good job.

It's not actually from '81, they were made in '82-'83, but they all have an '80 or '81 serial number...for instance, my '82 bullet bass deluxe has an '80 serial number...musicmaster basses are weird like that too, all the ones from '78-'81 have a '78 serial number

That's a very nice-looking and nice-sounding bass!!!! I just got a Kingston Super 5, my first MTD, and it's AWESOME!!!!! I'm going to seriously consider getting either a Kingston Z6 or AG6!!

Thanks, I used a pick to get a more even tone because my nails are a bit long make my tone brighter or darker depending on when they hit or don’t hit the strings.
What do you prefer … the fender or the carvin ?
I ended up letting both go. I have a Brazilian made Tagima and a Sadowsky MetroExpress that I prefer to either of them.

No, I do not have that information, but I think the bridge pickup was hum canceling.
Might be worth a visit to management . I’m sure you’ll survive without it. But it does sound nice. 😊
